Explore Sturgis’ past and present with the Sturgis Historical Society! Join us for our annual walking tours of Oak Lawn Cemetery on September 23rd. We will have talented actors bringing the past to life as our guides lead you around as they discuss the rich history of Sturgis and its famous inhabitants. Tours start Sept 23rd 3-5 pm, so don’t miss out.
Following the walking tours, join us for “Dinner with the Dead” at 6 p.m. on September 23rd hosted in the Beck Ballroom at the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts. This fundraising event is part of our ongoing effort to preserve local history and bring our town’s heritage to life in a unique way. Enjoy dinner, drinks, and live music while you learn about the lives of some of Sturgis’ most distinguished citizens. Actors will perform to patrons on the stage while enjoying a meal prepared by local caterers.
