FSN- Comedian – Mike Paramore

Mike Paramore is a clean stand-up comedian who uses humor to help students build resilience, confidence, and a healthier mindset when life does not go as planned.
Known for his warm presence and sharp observational comedy, Mike has a rare ability to make students feel instantly comfortable. He pulls humor from everyday situations that students recognize, awkward moments, self-doubt, pressure to perform, and the stories we tell ourselves when things go wrong. Students laugh hard first, lower their guard, and become genuinely open to reflection and growth.
Mike has been featured on TV and streaming platforms, including Dry Bar Comedy, FOX’s Laughs, and AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live. He has opened for well-known comedians such as Damon Wayans, Jon Lovitz, and Jay Pharoah, and has performed at major events including the Just for Laughs Festival and the Stellar Awards. His comedy has earned top honors at multiple festivals, including wins at the Cleveland Comedy Festival, Laughing Devil Festival in New York City, and Laugh Fest’s Best in the Midwest competition.
In school assemblies, Mike blends clean stand-up comedy with a non-cheesy motivational message, helping students reframe failure, manage negative self-talk, and keep moving forward even when things feel difficult. His approach aligns naturally with SEL, PBIS, and growth-mindset initiatives while avoiding heavy or triggering content.
What truly sets Mike apart is how he makes people feel. His comedy is absurd, uplifting, and sincere. He makes life feel lighter and more manageable for both students and faculty.
Students leave Mike’s programs entertained, encouraged, and equipped with practical ways to turn setbacks into progress.
