Jukebox Saturday Night is a toe-tapping, spirit-lifting musical tribute to the classic Big Band hits of the 1930s, ’40s and ’50s. Led by world-class musicians Greg and Amy Parnell, this show brings vintage swing to life—one unforgettable song at a time.
From the smooth sounds of Glenn Miller and Artie Shaw to the snappy swing of Count Basie and Benny Goodman, this high-energy concert experience transports audiences to the golden age of American music.
Meet the Artists
Greg Parnell – Bandleader & Drummer
A Vandergrift, Pennsylvania native, Greg Parnell is the former drummer and road manager of the legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra. Now living in Sanford, Florida, he brings decades of jazz experience and passion to the stage.
Greg is the President of Glenn Miller Productions, Inc., and founder/music director of the Orlando Jazz Orchestra. He has performed with:
- The Tommy Dorsey, Jimmy Dorsey, Les Brown & Nelson Riddle Orchestras
- Michael Andrew & Swingerhead
- The Fat Tuesday Big Band
- The American Vintage Orchestra
Greg has also backed musical icons such as The Mills Brothers, Eartha Kitt, Petula Clark, and The Four Freshmen. Through Jukebox Saturday Night, he shares his love of big band music with audiences across the country.“It’s an honor to carry on this great American music tradition.” – Greg Parnell
Amy Parnell – Vocalist & Narrator
One of Orlando’s most beloved jazz vocalists, Amy Parnell brings warmth, charm, and authenticity to every performance. Originally from Western Pennsylvania, she is a featured vocalist with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Artie Shaw Orchestra, and of course, Jukebox Saturday Night.
Amy is also an accomplished stage actress with multiple Best Actress awards from the Central Florida theatre scene. She stars as the radio announcer and singer for Orlando’s nostalgic hit show, Vivacity Nostalgia Radio Hour.
Whether she’s belting a swing classic or crooning a sultry ballad, Amy’s voice is a perfect match for the timeless music of the Big Band era.
