Sarah is the Programming & Special Events Coordinator at the Sturges-Young Center for the Arts. A Sturgis native and graduate of Sturgis High School and Grand Valley State University, she returns to her hometown after more than a decade in arts administration with Opera Carolina and Opera Grand Rapids. At SYCA, she coordinates performances, special events, and community programs. She believes that the arts, in all their forms, help shape a community’s identity and character.
