Jamie was born and raised in Northern Indiana. She graduated from Manchester University, in North Manchester Indiana, obtaining a Bachelors of the Arts degree in Marketing in 2013. Upon graduating, she accepted a vendor coordinating position which introduced her to event planning and coordinating, hospitality, and customer service and has since stayed in this field for the last 8 years. In her career, she has coordinated private events such as weddings, birthday parties, bridal parties, and baby showers, as well as large public events which include concerts, auctions, vendor/trade shows, and rallies. With customer service at the core of her work, it only makes sense that her favorite part of her job is getting to know her clients and helping them plan and execute their events. Recently, Jamie was accepted into the 2022-2023 Rising Leaders Cohort for Michigan Arts and Culture Council where she can work with other individuals, in art related careers, to focus on the advancement and developments of Michigan’s arts leaders. Since being in the program she has gained knowledge on leadership within the arts field and ways to stay creative within her own personal life. When Jamie is not booking or working events, you can find her enjoying time with her family.”
