Jamie was born and raised in Northern Indiana. She graduated Manchester University, in North Manchester Indiana, in 2013 obtaining a Bachelor’s of the Arts degree majoring in Marketing. Jamie was hired in June 2022 as Sturges-Young Center for the Arts’ Event Coordinator and was promoted in September 2023 to Director of SYCA. Prior to her time with SYCA, she gained experience in event rentals, bookings, performance-based bookings, marketing, and community development. She believes in the importance of the arts in the community, and with a passion for the arts and bringing people together, her goal is to create meaningful experiences that inspire, enrich, and connect people of all ages.
